Multiple Floor Plans in Studio
Multiple floor plans can be created in XactRemodel and XactRestore Studio and even copied from an existing floor plan within the same project.
The current floor plan can be identified by reviewing the floor plan name listed in the Select and modify floorplans menu.
Add new floor plans
Follow the steps below to add new floor plans in Studio.
- Within a project, select Studio.
- Open the Select and modify floorplans menu.
- Select Add Plan.
- An option to copy the floor plan from an existing one is presented or select NO THANK YOU to start with a blank floor plan.
Rename floor plans
Follow the steps below to rename floor plans in Studio.
- Within a project, select Studio.
- Open the Select and modify floorplans menu.
- Select the three-dot menu icon next to the floor plan to rename.
- Select Rename Plan.
- Enter the new name.
- Select a white space within the project to save the changes.
Delete floor plans
Follow the steps below to delete floor plans in Studio.
Note: If there is only one floor plan, the option to delete will not be displayed.
- Within a project, select Studio.
- Open the Select and modify floorplans menu.
- Select the three-dot menu icon next to the floor plan to rename.
- Select Delete Plan. The plan will be deleted without a confirmation prompt.
IMPORTANT: Deleted floor plans cannot be recovered.
