Rename a sketch in XactRemodel and XactRestore Studio

You can easily rename floor plans, levels, and rooms (as well as other objects) that were added in Studio.

Note: You can edit groups added directly in the Estimate section by selecting the menu icon next to the group and selecting Edit Details.

Rename floor plans

  1. In a project, select Studio.
  2. Select Floor Plan 1.
    Note: Depending on what floor plan is currently displayed, this may be different.
  3. Select the menu icon.
  4. Select Rename Plan.

  5. Enter the desired name.
  6. Select a white space on the Studio pane save.

Rename levels

  1. In a project, select Studio.
  2. Select Main Level.
    Note: Depending on what level is currently displayed, this may be different.
  3. Select the menu icon next to the level to rename.
  4. Select Rename Level.

  5. Enter the desired name.
  6. Select a white space on the Studio pane save.

Rename rooms and other objects

  1. In a project, select Studio.
  2. Select the room or other object to rename.
    Note: In this example, a room is used, but this process works for other named objects.
  3. Select the Properties… icon.

  4. Enter the new name.
  5. Select the X icon to save.
