Rename a sketch in XactRemodel and XactRestore Studio
Sketch floor plans, levels and rooms (and other objects) added in Studio can be renamed if desired.
Note: Groups added directly in the Estimate section can also be renamed by selecting the three-dot menu icon next to the group and selecting Edit Details.
Rename rooms and other objects
Rename floor plans
- In a project, select Studio.
- Select Floor Plan 1.
Note: Depending on what floor plan is currently displayed, this may be different.
- Select the three-dot menu icon.
- Select Rename Plan.
- Enter the desired name.
- Select a white space in the sketch to save.
Rename levels
- In a project, select Studio.
- Select Main Level.
Note: Depending on what level is currently displayed, this may be different.
- Select the three-dot menu icon next to the level to rename.
- Select Rename Level.
- Enter the desired name.
- Select a white space in the sketch to save.
Rename rooms and other objects
- In a project, select Studio.
- Select the room or other object to rename.
Note: In this example, a room is used, but this process works for other named objects.
- Select the Properties… icon.
- Enter the new name.
- Select a white space in the sketch to save.
