Sync Studio sketches with Xactimate

You can sync sketches created in the Studio tab of XactRestore Pro with Xactimate. To sync a sketch, the project must originate in XactAnalysis. XactRestore Pro also exports line items attached to rooms. It does not export groups added manually outside Studio.

Note: The exported sketch in Xactimate is locked. You can add or remove line items, but you cannot change the sketch in Xactimate. Any sketch updates need to be made in the Studio tab of XactRestore and synced again to Xactimate.   1. In an XactAnalysis-linked project in XactRestore Pro, select Studio.
  2. Select Sync to Xactimate.

  3. Select Sync data.
    Note: If you have more than one sketch, unselect any unneeded sketch before proceeding.

  4. In Xactimate, open the associated project.
  5. Select Estimate.
  6. Select Sketch.
  7. Wait for the Sketch updated message to appear and disappear.
    Note: Depending on the size of the sketch and the number of line items, you may see related line items appear on the main sketch level. Wait for the message before proceeding.
  8. Open the sketch space menu.
  9. Select the desired source entry.
    Note: If you export multiple XactRestore floor plans at the same time, Xactimate lists them as Source - XactRestore, Source - XactRestore 1, and so on.
