Roof Properties
When working with roofs, you can go a step further and make additional changes in the properties menu. XactRemodel Studio allows you to quickly access these properties to adjust the roof to your specifications.
Accessing the Properties Menu
The properties menu can only be accessed by first clicking on a roof name, which will then show the Properties Menu icon.

What's inside?
The Properties Menu is a window with a scrollbar that allows the user to move up and down and see all of the different settings that can be changed.

General |
Allows the user to change the name, and toggle the label on/off. |

Extend Roof Walls |
Allows the user to add walls to the roof. A default of 0" is entered automatically. |

Dimensions |
Allows the user to change the Roof Type and Overhang-Eave measurements. |

Ridge |
Allows the user to change various measurements including Run, Span, Rafter lengths. |
|
Eave Heights |
Allows the user to change the Eave Heights for each edge of the roof. |

Slope |
Using Rise/Run, allows a user to change how steep the roof is. |

Variables |
This section shows all of the additional variables you would need to see, including Area and Perimeter. |
