Reporting in Field docs

This document goes over reporting available for Field docs. Reports can texted or emailed directly from the application using the phone or device native sharing functions.

Access report

  1. From within a job, select Reports.
  2. Select Field documentation.

Report options

The options section allows you to edit the following items. Ensure you select the Apply button at the bottom of the field for the report to generate again the updated settings.

Note: The options menu can be opened or closed by selecting the three-line menu in the top right corner of the report.

  • Report title: Allows the name of the report which is in the top right corner of the first page of the report.
  • Opening Statement: Allows the addition of a predefined opening statement.
  • Closing Statement: Allows the addition of a predefined closing statement.
    Note: For assistance setting up opening and closing statements, see our Create report statements document.
  • Areas: Select the areas as defined in the Field docs section to display in the report.
    Note: At least one area is required for the report to generate.
  • Report details:
    • Report template: Allows pre-defined templates to be selected.
      Note: For assistance with these templates, see our Field docs Admin - Report Templates document.
    • Individual checkboxes: Allows specific items to be shown or hidden in the generated report.

Once all options have been selected, the download icon can be used to save a PDF file of the report.

Note: On mobile, these reports can be shared directly with customers using the mobile device’s built-in sharing tools.
