The Studio toolbar contains all the tools to create a floor plan. Some tools have multiple options within them. They are accessed from within the Studio tab by selecting the desired option.
The table below details each tool:

Select Tool | Select, resize, and move elements on the canvas. | Esc |

Room | Places an entire room. Select once to place a default size room. Select, hold, and drag to place a room of any size. | R |

Wall | Draw individual walls to create rooms or freestanding walls. | Shift+W |

Roof | Places a roof. Select once or select and drag. Various styles are available. | F |
|

Staircase | Places stairs and landings. Select once to pace the first step. Move cursor until the last step, select to place. Continue to place and size landing, select to place. If needed, continue in any direction to continue a new flight of stairs. Various styles are available. | C |

Deck | Places deck or patio. Select once to place a default sized deck. Select, hold, and drag to place a deck of any size. | Shift+D |

Fence | Places a fence line. Select once to start the fence, move cursor to the end, select to place. If needed, continue in any direction to add additional sections. | None |

Doorway | Places a doorway on a wall. Various styles are available. | D |

Window | Places a window on a wall. Select once on a wall where the center of the window is located. Select, hold, and drag to place a window of a specific size. Various styles are available. | W |

Missing Wall | Creates a missing wall or places an opening. Select once on a wall remove the entire wall. Select, hold, and drag along a wall to place an opening in the wall. | M |

Add a Snap Line | Places a line that allows rooms and other objects to easily set in place along a straight line. Select to place. | S |

Square Break | Splits a wall into two sections. Select once on a wall to split it. Then, select, hold, and drag one section to the desired location. | B |

Add Vertex | Places a vertex on a wall. Select once to place the vertex and then drag the vertex to the desired position. | V |
|
|
Set Scale | Sets the scale of the floorplan to a known length. An existing room or object must be placed first. Select each end of the known length and enter the measurement. | G |

Reference Objects | Places a reference block, area, line, or point. Various styles are available. | None |

|
Copy from Underlay | Select and copy the desired portions of the created sketch to a new level. | U |

Toggle Calculations On and Off | The Toggle Calculations turns off intensive geometric calculations required for certain sketch algorithm items, this includes framing items and other items added directly from the properties menu. When calculations are toggled off, changes to the room size does not update the framing items until toggled back on. | J |

Annotation | Places markings, texts, or colors to better highlight or clarify the floorplan. Various styles are available. | None |
