The snap line tool allows for rooms and other objects on the Studio pane to be snapped along specific lines.

Add a new snap line

Follow the steps below to add a new snap line to the Studio pane.


  1. Within Studio, select the Snap Line icon. This loads the tool onto your cursor.
    2. Note: Alternatively, press the S key on the keyboard.
  2. Select a point on the Studio pane to place the snap line.

Move an existing snap line

To move an existing snap line on the Studio pane, select and drag it.

Remove an existing snap line

Follow the steps below to delete an existing snap line on the Studio pane.

Note: Alternatively, you can select the snap line and press the Delete key on the keyboard.
  1. Within Studio, right-click the snap line.
  2. Select Delete.
