Zoom controls in Studio

XactRemodel and XactRestore Studio include several zoom controls in the sketch pane.

Note: The zoom controls work the same in both 2D and 3D; however, the screenshots below show them in 2D.
Zoom in

To zoom in, select the Zoom in icon, press the + key on the keyboard, or scroll up on the mouse wheel.

Zoom out

To zoom out, select the Zoom out icon, press the - key on the keyboard, or scroll down on the mouse wheel.

Zoom to extents

Use Zoom to extents to show all items on the sketch pane. To zoom to extents, select the Zoom to extents icon or press the Shift and - keys on the keyboard at the same time.

Zoom to selection

Zoom to selection to fill the sketch pane with the selected item.


  1. Within Studio, select the desired item.
  2. Select the Zoom to selection icon.
    Note: Alternatively, press the Shift and + keys on the keyboard at the same time.
