XactRemodel and XactRestore offer a way to make customized changes to details of line item components.


Tip Icon Components cannot be edited in XR Mobile. Users with the XactRemodel Pro or XactRestore subscription tiers can edit line item components. To upgrade your subscription, contact our sales team at 1-833-352-9228 between 7:00am – 4:00pm (Mountain Time) Monday – Friday.

Edit a new item

Follow the steps below to edit items before adding them to the project in XactRemodel and XactRestore online.


  1. From within an XactRemodel project, select Estimate.
  2. Select the desired group.
  3. Select Single Items.
  4. Select the desired item.
    Note:You can edit any underlined item.
  5. Select Details.

  6. Select Components.
  7. Select the desired component item.
    Note: Any item that is underlined can be edited.
  8. Enter the new amount.
  9. Select the Add to group icon.

  1. From within an XactRemodel project, select Estimate.
  2. Select the desired group.
  3. Select the desired item.

    Note: You can edit any underlined item.
  6. Enter the new amount.
  7. Select the Add to group icon.
