Nest groups

Groups in the Estimates section of a project can be nested, allowing subgroups to be created.

Note: Groups can only be nested five times.

  1. Within a project, select the arrow next to Estimate.
    Note: If the section is already expanded, skip to step 2.
  2. Select the group to add a subgroup to.
  3. Select the Options menu icon.
  4. Select Create Subgroup. The New group window opens.
    Note: To delete subgroups, select Delete. The group and any subgroups under it are deleted.

  5. Fill out the form.
  6. Select the Save Changes button. The New group window closes.

  1. Within a project, select Estimate.
  2. Select the group to add a subgroup to.
  3. Select the three-dot menu icon.
  4. Select Add sub-group.
    Note: To delete subgroups, select Delete group. The group and any subgroups under it are deleted.
  5. Fill out the form.
  6. Select the checkmark icon to save.
