Task Report in Scheduling
Updated by Torrey Rawlings
We know how important it is to provide clear instructions to your employees and subcontractors. That’s why we've added the Task Report feature in the scheduling tool, allowing you to easily share what needs to be done.
What is the Task Report?
The Task Report provides a detailed breakdown of all the line items and specifics for each task within your schedule. It also includes a work summary, along with a section to date and sign the document for tracking purposes.
How to Generate a Task Report:
Before generating the report, ensure your schedule is created. For a guide on creating your schedule, refer to Creating a Project Schedule with Auto-Scheduling.
- Open the Schedule tab.
- Select the task you want to generate a report for.
- Click the Download button in the top right corner of the task window.
- A preview will open in a new browser tab. Click Download again to save the file to your computer.
What the Task Report Includes:
- Company Details: Company name, logo, address, phone number, email
- Project Details: Project name, start date, client’s name, address, email, phone number
- Task Details: Task name, description, associated line items (group/item, description, activity, quantity), line for date and signature
Ways to Use the Task Report:
- Work order
- Item shopping list
- Category report
- Scope of work
This report is a versatile tool that will help streamline your workflow and ensure everyone is on the same page.
