Field docs Admin - Report Templates

This document is part of the initial setup an XactRestore Pro administrator will go through to setup Field Docs for use by employees in the field.

Before starting any job, complete the steps in Field docs Admin - Settings.

While you can start jobs without completing the steps in this document and the Field docs Admin - Documents , you will not be able to take advantage of signed documents or report templates until this is completed.


Note: This document specifically covers setting up templates. For assistance running a template report or Field Docs reporting within a project, see our Reporting in Field docs document.

To access the document settings:


  1. Select Admin.

  2. Select Field docs.
  3. Select Report Template.

Create new templates

Edit or delete templates


Create new templates

Follow the steps below to create a new report template.


  1. From the Report Templates settings page, select Create template.

  2. Enter a template name.
  3. Select the item(s) to include in the report.
    Note: Select the plus icon next to certain sections to see sub-section settings.
  4. Select the Save icon.

Edit or delete templates

Once at least one report template is created, when viewing the Report Templates setting page two options become available, one to edit existing templates and one to delete them.


To edit a template, select the Edit button.

To delete a template, follow the steps below.


  1. Select the Delete button.
  2. Select OK.
    IMPORTANT: Once a template is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
