Extending Access to XactRemodel Desktop

Starting May 1, 2022, full support for XactRemodel desktop will no longer be available. However, following the steps in the article will allow continued access to your existing installation of XactRemodel until May 1, 2024. You will still be able to view and edit existing projects and create new ones. For a limited time, price lists can be downloaded through XactRemodel Studio.
Required Configuration Change
Follow the steps below to update the configuration settings in XactRemodel Desktop to continue to get access past May 1, 2022:
- Make sure you have an existing subscription XactRemodel Studio. Click here to subscribe.
- Connect your Xactnet address to your XactRemodel Studio subscription. Details here
- Navigate to the Control Center tab in XactRemodel desktop, click the XactAnalysis menu at the top and select "XactAnalysis Configuration".
- In the XactAnalysis IP Address Smartlist window, click the Add button and add the following Address and Port number:
- Address: xrcomm.xactware.com
- Port: 18720
- Next, remove all of the old entries by selecting each one and clicking Delete.
- Once the old entries have been removed and only the new entry remains, click OK to save your changes.
- Lastly, click Connect to secure a connection to the new server and verify that you are able to connect successfully.
