The key to creating a comprehensive and professional bid is to ensure your data is accurate, and that the presentation of the proposal includes everything the client needs to feel confident that their contractor is organized and will do a great job. This release provides additional tools to help you customize and refine your bid, and introduces new ways to allow you to be more efficient when creating your proposals.

Include the Floor Plan on the Proposal report

The ability to create a visual floor plan of the property is great, but the ability to easily share that floor plan with your client is even better. By simply capturing the floor plan you are creating on the Studio tab, you are now able to effortlessly include the various Studio drawings with the estimate on the Proposal report. Customize the component price and quantity

Users have always been able to customize the line item unit prices and quantities in XactRemodel. With this release, we have expanded the functionality to allow you to customize the unit price and quantity of the underlying components as well. This allows for greater control over budgeting for materials and labor in addition to having greater detail in the components report. Learn how it works

Customize your schedule by configuring the days and times you are available to work.

Users have been able to automatically generate a project schedule using the estimate they have written within XactRemodel for a while now. With this release, we are providing additional customization to allow you to customize when you work on specific days so that, when you generate your project schedule, it will conform to your specific work schedule.

Simply set the hours your team works and which days they are available, and the auto-scheduling feature will take that into account when creating the scheduled events. Keep an eye out for much more to come in the future to help you manage your projects, crews, and equipment. Learn about Scheduling

Quickly add items to your estimate using the new quick-add buttons

When searching for line items in XactRemodel, the price/unit is now visible without having to expand each item in the search results. Compare items by their price and quickly add the item by clicking the add button right on the search results. This will allow you to save time and be more efficient by quickly adding the items you need to your estimate.
