Multiple Floor Plans in Studio
Updated by Meredith Lu
In addition to working with levels in a floor plan and level properties underlay, XactRemodel Studio also allows you to quickly create multiple floor plans in one project. These floor plans can even be copied from existing floor plans or you can create new floor plans to your specifications.
Multiple Floor Plans in Studio:
Here is an example of adding a new floor plan that is copied from a previous sketch in Studio:
- Click on the Existing button in your sketch.
- Click on Add Plan.
- Choose the "COPY FROM..." option, select the sketch you want to copy from. In this case, Proposed 1 sketch is selected to copy from.
- The new floor plan is created. Rename it as needed. In this case, the new floor plan is renamed as Plan B.
You can also create a new floor plan from scratch in Studio based on your needs.
- Click on the Existing button in your sketch.
- Click on Add Plan.
- Choose the "NO, THANK YOU" option.
- The blank new floor plan is created. Rename it as needed.
Learning how to use the multiple floor plans feature offers you a great way to work on multiple floor plans in one project in XactRemodel Studio.
