Verisk is sunsetting the XactRemodel desktop application and is replacing it with a new cloud-based version of XactRemodel. Starting on May 1, 2022, there will be limited support and customers will no longer be able to directly license XactRemodel Desktop. Price lists will no longer be available to download through XactAnalysis. However, price lists can be downloaded through XactRemodel Studio for a limited time.
The cloud-based version of XactRemodel is available and we are releasing improvements multiple times a month. We understand that users may want to continue to access XactRemodel Desktop during this transition. To accommodate that, we have created a way for users to continue to use XactRemodel Desktop for a limited time.
How to link an XactRemodel desktop subscription to a cloud subscription of XactRemodel
To continue accessing XactRemodel desktop, users must have a valid subscription to the new cloud-based version of XactRemodel. Users can subscribe to the new XactRemodel by going to http://subscribe.xactremodel.com/. Once the user has a valid subscription, they can connect an existing desktop account to the new subscription by following these steps:
- Log in to your new XactRemodel subscription at www.xactremodel.com.
- Click the User avatar at the top right and choose Manage Account.
- Under the Account Info, expand the "Have an XactRemodel desktop account?" menu
- Enter your XactRemodel desktop's XactNet Address and click link.


- If your XactRemodel desktop subscription is expired, you will locate your XactNet Address by launching XactRemodel desktop on your computer. You will see a message that includes your XactNet Address.
- This will link your XactRemodel desktop install to your new XactRemodel studio subscription.
As long as you have an active subscription to the new version of XactRemodel, you will continue to be able to access both your XactRemodel desktop subscription and new XactRemodel subscription.
