Create a vaulted or attic ceiling

You can create rooms with vaulted or attic ceilings in XactRemodel and XactRestore Studio.


  1. Within a project, select Studio.
  2. Create or select the desired room.
    Note: For assistance creating rooms, see our Room basics document.
  3. Select the Properties icon.

  4. Select Attic in the Ceiling Type menu.
  5. Make any measurement adjustments needed.
  6. Select the X icon to save.

Once drawn, you can view the ceiling in 3D view.

Note: To create an attic ceiling with different slopes or angles, sketch three rooms together and delete their adjoining walls. Use a combination of flat and sloped ceilings to form the desired shape. Then, set the ceiling slopes based on each room’s wall heights.
